Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
The one24worship Newsletter is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
As this edition of one24worship comes out, Good Friday is tomorrow.
Good Friday.
It can seem odd to describe a day of crucifixion as “good.” And to the people who were actually present on that dark day, would the word “good” have been their adjective of choice?
Hope would have seemed lost, death would have seemed to have triumphed, and faith would have seemed impossible.
But it IS Good Friday because Resurrection Day Sunday follows!
According to the Bible, by His death on the cross on Good Friday, Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sin. And by His resurrection, Jesus provided a pathway for eternal life and for an eternal way of living!
Death could not keep Him in the ground and the grave is empty!
Hope and Faith are ALIVE!
Happy Good Friday and Happy Resurrection Day!
Enjoy!
David
One Verse

Four Observations
Easter’s Promise: Jesus is Our Foundation for Hope and a Future - Blog Post by Alex McFarland at AlexMcFarland .com
Excerpt: “Over three decades of travel throughout the world and having had countless conversations with people of every conceivable background, I am convinced that people everywhere are thinking about God. Oddly, some who seem to think about God constantly — obsessively almost — are people with whom I correspond who claim to be atheists. People want to know about the ‘non-physical” side of their existence.’ 👉 Read More…
Christ HAS Been Raised From the Dead! - Blog Post by Robb Brunansky at DesertHillsChurch .com
Excerpt: “As marvelous as Jesus’ resurrection is, Christians often forget much of its significance. We often assume the resurrection, failing to think on it as deeply as we ought or to teach it as frequently as we should. That is why we must reflect on the significance of Jesus’ resurrection, not just on Easter, but all year long, for a consistent, maturing faith.” 👉 Read More…
7 Reasons Worship Is Essential to the Christian Life - Article by Cindi McMenamin at CrossWalk .com
Excerpt: “…worship is not confined to music and singing, nor is it limited to a building or gathering of the saints. Worship is anything you and I do to esteem and magnify the worth-ship of God.” 👉 Read More…

There were many things in the newsletter this week that spoke to my heart. The first one was the article on HOPE, without hope we are an empty shell without a purpose. The other thing that was so beautiful was the song, "Empty" by Chris McClarney, the voice, words and music go straight to the heart. The words of the song tell us everything we need to know about the life, death and the ressurection of Jesus Christ. It tells the world what Resurrection Sunday is all about. It tells the world what Christians believe and what their faith is buit on. It is built on Jesus birth, death and resurrection. Jesus is God in the flesh, the Holy Spirit, the Three in One, Amen! Praise His name forever more!
