Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
one24worship is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
One of the perhaps lesser known hymns written by the late Fanny Crosby was, “Able To Deliver.”
The Refrain says,
“He is able still to deliver thee / And His own right hand thy defense shall be / He is able still to deliver thee / Then be thou not afraid.”
With this in view, I’ve been pondering how many of our fears might be solved by trusting Him and moving forward with acts of simple obedience and faith.
I invite you to join me.
“He is able still to deliver thee!”
Enjoy!
David
One Verse/Passage
“‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest? Did not my hand make all these things?’” Acts 7:49-50 ESV
Two Quotes
Doug Stringer
“The highest form of worship is simple obedience. When we worship Him with our ‘yes’ and step into the moment where He has called us, He strengthens us and equips us for the battles ahead!” Doug Stringer

Four Observations
Jesus, the Lord of Every Decision - Article by Andy Davis at Two Journeys
Excerpt: “By his death and resurrection, Christ is Lord. Therefore, all believers should live not to ourselves alone but to the Lord and his purposes. Whether we live or die, every decision belongs to Christ. This was exactly why Jesus died on the cross and rose again, to be Lord of everything we ever do.”

“Not My Will, But Yours”: How to Pray Like Jesus - Blog Post by Alistair Begg at Truth For Life
Excerpt: “In His wisdom, God doesn’t always give us our requests. And we rejoice in that, for we’re often poor judges of what’s good for us and others. In God’s economy, the things we imagine may be good are actually often harmful, and what we perceive to be bad may often be vital for our Christian formation (Heb. 12:3–11).”

For CHURCH LEADERS: 7 Practical Ways to Counter The Wave of Deconstruction - Blog Post by Carey Nieuwhof at CareyNieuwhof .com
Excerpt: “Getting angry at people who are losing faith, and dismissing or ridiculing them might score you points with the converted searching for a self-righteous affirmation, but it also speeds up the exit of people already on the way out. And getting louder and angrier about why what you believe is right accomplishes the same thing. […] Here are seven responses you can embrace that can help you navigate the wave of deconstruction happening and, in the end, usher in some very helpful reconstruction along the way.”
