Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
The one24worship Newsletter is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
The autumnal equinox took place this past Sunday ushering in the fall season in the northern hemisphere. Hashtag #EverythingPumpkinSpice On your mark… Get set… GO! 😳 😆
As inhabitants of this rotating, revolving terrestrial ball called the earth, we get to experience and enjoy the change of the seasons year by year. These annual changes help provide a framework for the rhythms of our lives.
Much like the predictable seasons of the year, we all also go through some unexpected seasons in life - ones filled with abundant blessing, and others with varying degrees of trial.
Whether these seasons of life are predictable or unexpected, blessed or trying, there yet remains a constant…
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 ESV
May this edition of one24worship help to encourage us to enter this fall with an attitude of thanksgiving.
Enjoy!
David
One Verse
“In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears.” 2 Samuel 22:7 ESV
Two Quotes
Matt Papa
“Worship is a rhythm of revelation and response. We see something magnificent (revelation) and then we respond in adoration (response).” Matt Papa

Four Observations
The Glory of God - by John Maisel at EastWest.org
Excerpt: “If we are going to align with God’s plan for us, we must focus on this first thing. If not, we may miss what God desires to do in and through us. I want to address what I believe is God’s strategic objective for mankind. This concept can be disturbing and threatening because it strikes at the very core of who we think we are and who God is. And ultimately, it is the framework of all our spiritual growth and brings understanding to the whys of life. ” 👉 Read More…
When you Feel Like A Failure: Learning to be Dependent on Our Dependable God - by Gretchen Saffles at AnnVoskamp.com
Excerpt: “Why do we think we can live apart from the help of God? Our pride persuades us we can do everything on our own strength. We think we don’t need to be forgiven because we haven’t done anything that wrong, or we don’t need God-fueled patience because we can muster it up from our own reserves, or we don’t need help because we are self-sufficient. But the truth is, we are fully dependent on God—and he is fully dependable.” 👉 Read More…
Finding Balance Between Faith and Technology - by Church.org
Excerpt: “It’s easy to start reading a devotional or prayer guide online, only to be interrupted by a text or tempted to check another app. These constant distractions can make it difficult to engage deeply with spiritual practices. The sheer volume of digital content can also lead to information overload, which can diminish the quality of your time spent with God.” 👉 Read More…

"God is a Jealous God" Exodus 34:14 NKJV The Glory of God is explained in, Isaiah 42:8, 43:7, 48:11.
There are 4 times that satan tried to steal, God's power and glory. The first time (lucifer)satan and some of his angels tried to over throw God) God threw satan and his followers out of heaven. The second time, Satan tricked Eve in eating from from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God punished satan, and Adam and Eve for this act of evil, by trying to be like Him. The third time, satan tried to steal God's Glory, was with Jesus Christ. Jesus had fasted and prayed 40 days and nights, satan failed once again, this time, Jesus watched satan crawl away, like the snake that he was. The final time that satan tried, turned out to be a glorious day for all Christians, for every one that has been born, because we all have the opportunity to have eternal life. Jesus Christ(the Son of God) gave His life to be crucified on a cross, he was buried and arose from the dead on the third day. Death, Hell and the Grave was defeated. Praise His Holy Name.
I enjoyed all the songs, by The Gathering House. The Song "I AM NOT ALONE" with Nyssa Garcia was beautiful, with a message we all need to hear.
