As Christmas approaches next week, may we be reminded that regardless of the circumstances surrounding our individual lives, we can have hope for Emmanuel has come!
And because He is “God With Us,” we can worship Him, cry out to Him in prayer, and be confident of His rescuing power!
As Sandra McCracken sings in this week’s one24worship song…
“Be still, O sorrow, for joy has found us
Grace to surround us, Emmanuel.”
Merry Christmas and…
Enjoy!

Four Observations
Three Kings - by Richard Blackaby at RichardBlackaby.com
Excerpt: “We’re all familiar with the popular (if biblically inaccurate) Christmas carol, ‘We Three Kings.’ The trio frequently appears in Christmas pageants across the land. But there were three other kings who played a more direct role in the story of Jesus’ birth.” 👉 Read More…
Why Was Jesus Even Born? - by Robb Brunansky at ChristianPost.com
Excerpt: “Forgiveness erases the evil, sin, and disobedience. However, humanity needs something more, because we could never achieve a perfect righteousness before the Lord on our own. God, then, gives us the gift of the imputation of Christ’s righteousness. Not only does God pay off the debt of our sin, but He deposits Christ’s righteousness into our account through faith.” 👉 Read More…
FOR WORSHIP LEADERS: O Come, O Come, Emmanuel - by Editorial Team at WorshipLeader.com
Excerpt: “Corrie Ten Boom once asked, ‘Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?’ My heart’s desire is to live a life guided by prayer. I want to intentionally pray over every facet of my life, from daily tasks to my family to God’s work among the nations. Being diligent in prayer is not my idea but rather something we all learn from studying the life of Jesus.” 👉 Read More…

To answer the question, why was Jesus born? He was born, so we could be born again. I believe and I know that He was sent to seek and save that which was lost. He was mocked when He went to the places where the lost were. He was mocked following His trial, He was spit on. On the cross one of the thieves, asked Him to save Himself, if He was the Son of God. Yet, the other person on the cross, beside Him, asked Him to remember Him when He came into His Kingdom. Jesus said " Today you will be with me in paradise." A death bed confession, and yes, he received forgiveness and eternal life. I ask
myself, after recent things that have happened. How, can a child be responsible for terrible things that happened to them when they were a five year old child. I don't believe God does feels that way. To suffer again for those things are extremely painful. Sometimes, it takes years of therapy to cope, just to survive each day. God always, listens and cares. He sent Jesus, for people like that child.
