Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
The one24worship Newsletter is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
There’s a new song featured in the one24worship Observations today that has this simple line as the title hook, “Today is a day for singing!” Hashtag: #Earworm 😆
I wonder… how many of our days could be impacted for the good if we would awaken with the determination that “today is a day for singing”?
I’m not talking about a naive, disingenuous, unrealistic optimism. Rather, that we would simply start our day by agreeing with the Psalmist that, regardless of circumstances in the natural, because the LORD reigns…
“Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” Psalm 67:4-5 ESV
Because the LORD reigns, TODAY is a day for singing!!
Enjoy!
David
One Verse/Passage
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4 ESV
Two Quotes

“If you look up to God, if you know him, if you get acquainted with him, if you understand how perfectly true and boundlessly faithful he is, you will trust him and you cannot help it.” Arthur T. Pierson (1837-1911)

For WORSHIP LEADERS: 9 Reasons People Aren’t Singing in Worship – Revisited and Updated - Article by Kenny Lamm at RenewedWorshipNC .org
Excerpt: “We need to determine what is helpful in setting an environment for people to worship and what causes distractions, such as calling attention to the cool lighting effects or perhaps even annoying moving light in the eyes of the congregation. As worship leaders, we need to be wise in utilizing these gifts in a way that enhances, not distracts, from worship.
I believe we often worship the components of the worship service rather than to truly worship God. We fall in love with our cool arrangements, set lists, awesome guitar licks, set designs and amazing lighting.” 👉 Read More…
