Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
The one24worship Newsletter is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
This week, my schedule is packed full with extra activities and errands in preparation for an upcoming mission trip. All of these are in addition to my regular weekly routine and commitments.
And frankly, I’m finding myself adding items to my To-Do List just as quickly as I’m checking items off!
I’m sure you’ve experienced times like this, too.
This week’s featured song from “Captive Us, Live From Keeper’s Branch” is a reminder to take time to pause, breathe, and wait upon the Lord, even in moments and seasons of increased activity.
Enjoy!
David
One Verse/Passage
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Psalm 91:1-2 ESV
Two Quotes
Ronald Allen & Gordon Borror
“The real factor in worship is a heart desire for God; the reason it fails to occur in the pew is because it fails to occur in the daily routine of living.” Ronald Allen & Gordon Borror

What’s the Most Important Thing in Your Life? - Article by Will Graham at BillyGraham .org
Excerpt: “The Bible—from the beginning of the Old Testament to the end of the New Testament—repeatedly issues warnings to avoid idolatry and focus on the One True God. The admonitions are not quaint suggestions, but forceful proclamations regarding the eternal risks of turning from God to the things of this world.” 👉 Read More…
