One Verse
“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV
Two Quotes
Dr. George H. Harris
“The greatest legacy that Jesus left to His church of believers is the use of His name - the greatest and most powerful name in the universe. […] The name we are given to use at heaven’s bank cannot compare to the paltry wealth of this earth’s billionaires. We have been entrusted with the name above ALL names.”

John Garner
“Discipleship is the lifelong process God uses to accomplish His transforming work in a Christian’s life.”

Four Observations
5 Attitudes that Simplify Complicated Relationships - Article by Brandon Cox on Walk Humble
Excerpt: “When someone is bold enough to change their Facebook relationship status to ‘It’s Complicated,’ everyone else takes notice and starts speculating about what’s going on. The fact is, all of us among the human species know what it means to have complicated relationships. We’ve been in the business of making marriage, family, and friendship more complex for thousands of years, and at the root of it all is our sinful nature and selfish tendencies.”
Why Suffering is to Be Expected - Article from Radius International
Excerpt: “When deciding on our youngest son’s name, we had already decided to move forward with our conviction from scripture of taking the gospel to an unreached language group. We decided on the name, John Paton, not in hopes that he would become an extraordinary missionary himself one day, but that in our times of suffering his name would serve as a reminder of the saints that had gone before us. A reminder of John G. Paton’s life and how the Kingdom of God advanced in his times of suffering.”
10 Key Bible Verses on Worship - Article from Crossway
Excerpt: “Christians are to give themselves entirely to God because of his saving grace, as shown in Rom. 3:21–11:36. Sacrificial language from the OT is used to denote the new life of Christians, and this means that the word bodies here refers to Christians as whole persons, for both body and soul belong to God.”

VERSE THREE
“My delight is in You Lord / You're the Treasure I have found / You're the Rock where I stand / I will not be moved / All my life is in Your hands.”

Sermon Notes Sunday (231112) on Instagram
“"Faith is our relationship to God - Love is our relationship to one another - Hope is our expectancy of His coming!" Dr. George Harris
This past Sunday, Dr. George Harris preached during the morning service at The Country Church. And yesterday, he turned 89 years old! As I posted this week on social media, “I am so grateful for Dr. George Harris and his wife, Lynda – true servants of the Lord! This amazing couple has impacted countless lives globally over the years. I'm one of those fortunate to be blessed by them!”
Happy Birthday, Dr. Harris! dg
Current one24worship Poll
Many people take notes during the message at church. Some use a physical handout provided by the church. Others take out their phone and jot some notes down. Of course, there are plenty of mobile apps, too. Still others are “old school” (like me) and bring a journal to write in or a note pad to write on.
So, if you take sermon notes during church, what’s your #1 challenge? Or, to put it another way, if you could solve the #1 problem you have related to taking sermon notes during church, what might that solution look like?
If you’d like to participate in the Current one24worship Poll, please email your response to Current one24worship Poll.
Thank you!
