Welcome to this issue of one24worship - Because worship is a daily lifestyle, one 24-hour day at a time, not just a weekly event.
The one24worship Newsletter is a weekly offering of inspiration, ideas, and insights... 1-2-4: one verse, two quotes, and four observations at a time.
This past week has been extraordinarily exhilarating and exhausting!
Last Friday and Saturday, I participated in The No Man Left Behind Men’s Retreat with my church. Over the weekend, we experienced four powerful messages delivered by Joby Martin via video from the Book of James.
Here’s a thought from one of the sessions that I wrote in The one24worship Journal:
“Discipleship is moving me from come and see to come and die!” Joby Martin
Then, on Sunday through Tuesday evenings, my church hosted a Revival Bible Conference, featuring four wonderful and gifted preachers over the three nights!
As a result, this edition of The one24worship Newsletter is somewhat of an overflow from these past several days.
Lord willing, the aim of this issue is to move us from seeking personal and corporate revival to passionately proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel to the ends of the earth!
Let The Nations Be Glad!
Enjoy!
David
One Verse/Passage
“Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” Psalm 67:4-5 ESV
Two Quotes
Ronnie Floyd
“True revival is nothing less or more than the manifested presence of God in our lives. It is when Jesus is free to be who He wants to be in, through, and around us.” Ronnie Floyd

Bill Bright
“Revival is a sovereign act of God, a divine visitation of His grace. Throughout history, revival has come in response to the Lord’s stirring of His people.” Bill Bright

Four Observations
Reflecting on the Life of Henry Blackaby - Article by Richard Blackaby at RichardBlackaby .com
Three weeks ago, I mentioned the passing of Henry Blackaby. He had such a dynamic impact on so many people throughout the entire world. And I am one of those people. Please take a moment to read this fitting tribute, an article written by his son, Richard. dg
Excerpt: “Dad believed in the next generation. While pastoring a church in Saskatoon that never had more than 250 in attendance, he saw 150 college students feel called into ministry. One of the most striking features of his book Experiencing God is how many people felt called into ministry after reading it. Today, there is a great host of people who are serving the Lord due to my father’s influence. When it was time for Dad to meet his Lord face to face, he knew there were scores of people continuing to serve his Lord as a result of his ministry.”

Fasting and Prayer: The Path to Spiritual Renewal and Intimacy with God - Article by The Staff at ChurchLeaders .com
Excerpt: “Fasting and prayer are not outdated rituals; they are vibrant, life-changing disciplines that can restore and deepen your intimacy with God. They represent a physical and spiritual reset, a way to humble oneself and refocus on what truly matters. As many believers have experienced, these practices can lead to a rediscovery of one’s ‘first love’ for God, opening doors to miracles, breakthroughs, and a deeper understanding of His will. In the quiet and surrender of fasting and prayer, we find strength, clarity, and renewed passion for God.”

How My Family Gave Me a Heart for the Nations - Article by Lydia Logsdon at Radical
Excerpt: “Because our God reigns, we live as sojourners, building his kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. One day, we will be together with God and see clearly, the hundredfold of every sacrifice that was made. Because of my parents’ example, I live on mission today for the promised future in which my family will sing—with every tongue, tribe, and nation—the praise of the glory that is due to our God.”

Just love this final quote from your sermon notes! I amTeaching a Bible study right now called Seeking Him:Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival. And this very truth of how to know we need revival is something we talked about the first week. We are in week 6 (of 12 total) now and seeing real revival beginning in hearts!
True Revival In My Life
True revival came to me during COVID. Since we were locked away from so many people, life became very lonely. It also became a very sad time, hearing about the deaths of friends and loved ones. Also, the daily count of how many had died in our country. During this lock down time, I turned to the Lord and found what I needed. Through the Christian channel and five preacher's: These five preacher's were, Dr. Jeremiah, Dr. Jeffress, Dr. Young, Dr. Stanley and Pastor Alan Jackson. During this time, I also read the Bible, and prayed each day all day. I could feel the presense of God so strong. I felt that if I looked up, I could see Him. If I reached inside my heart, I would find Him. I can only compare this time to when I was saved at age of 21. During those days, l spent time in Bible study, attended all church services and events. Visitation and witnessing were the things that blessed my heart the most. The only thing that I did then, that I cannot do now was spending prayer time on my knees. I believe that true revival comes in the good times and the bad times. It's up to each one of us, where we choose to put God in our lives. Psalm 150:v6 Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord. PRAISE THE LORD!
