I would describe abiding in Jesus as an all day, every day, relationship. I have always felt music, it's as if , it flows from the sound of the music and words into my blood stream and into my heart. The song Abide is beautiful, I can understand how you sang it for 2 years after you heard it.
God has given me a love for writing poems. When I hear a sermon or someone teach a lesson, kthe Lord almost always gives me a message in song. Jesus abides with me everyday, I talk to Him and He answers, He is my best friend. Some songs never leave, they are comforting and like the scripture they are close to my heart. I will probably be singing "Abide" for a while. He is the well that never runs dry. Sometimes, I feel like I attended God's college of worship. I hope I will always have a love for music and what the words mean to me and what it means to the one who wrote it.
Thank you, Virginia. I share your love for good music and good poetry, as well as your comment, "I feel like I attended God's college of worship." Abiding = Attending God's College of Worship." 🙂

I hope it is a college that I never graduate from.
