Staying the course reminds me of, of the broad way and the narrow way. Keeping our eyes open to what's in front of us, is an essential part of staying on the narrow road. I like your comparison to your lamp and the tattered material. Light does shine brighter through holes in the material of a tattered shade, or through leaves in a tree, when the winds blows the leaves apart. It also shines in a person's eyes when they are studying God's word. Have you ever realized, how many songs have come from the scripture of 2nd Samuel ch 22 ? It is amazing. If you want your lamp fixed, I can do it for you. I am a good at fixing things. Thanks for the newsletter, I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks Virginia. I also appreciated Aaron's encouragement in his "Stay the Course" article that... "the God who calls also equips, provides, protects, and remains faithful in every situation." Thanks for your offer to assist with my tattered antique lamp shade. Very kind. God bless, David
